Dr
Rima Morrell BA (Hons) MA (Cantab) Ph.D. has been vegetarian
since the age of five. That's when she asked where sausages
came from and was told pigs. So she stopped eating them. She
studied Biological Anthropology and Primatology as part of
her honours degree in Anthropology at Cambridge University.
She did a Ph.D. in Geography at University College, London,
focusing on language, identity and sense of place. During
this time she presented at over ten international conferences
and taught at the Universities of Hawaii and London. An experienced
researcher, she taught research methods at postgraduate level
at the Open University and her third book is now published
by Piatkus/ Little Brown on how to travel, including a chapter
on Travelling with Animals. Dr. Morrell is a fellow of the
Royal Geographical Society and Royal Anthropological Institute.
